About Me

I have a Bachelor's degree from the U.S. Naval Academy in Oceanography and a Master's degree in Air-Ocean Science from the Naval Postgraduate School. In the past I have tutored students from kindergarten through high school in math and enjoy teaching math, science and english. My teaching philosophy is to present the student with multiple options to solve a problem since students learn visually or audibly as well as by demonstration and.or trial and error. I adapt my teaching style based on the student's needs. In addition to tutoring, I teach and enjoy playing pickleball as well as traveling.
