About Me

Name: Talha Yousaf (CPA, ACA) Experience: 13 years of industry experience in Accounts and Finance. My journey began back in 2008, when I started studying for ACCA. While studying, I got hired by Ernst & Young (Assurance Department), where I got promoted 2 times in 3 years time and was given the opportunity to represent EY in Saudi Arabia (Tax Department). During this time, I kept giving tuitions in various academies. By 2014, I had completed my ACCA, ICAEW and obtained a Masters degree from University of Bath. At University of Bath, I started teaching Undergraduate students for Accounts and Finance. Upon my return back to Pakistan, I started work in Mark Industries (A stationery manufacturing concern, employing over 1,000 employees) and on side, I started teaching in Roots Ivy International to Undergraduate students. Eventually, I moved to Canada, where I started working as a Finance Controller for Centennial Plastic Inc. I absolutely love teaching and believe that I make friends out of my students along the way. I find it very easy to communicate with my students and understand their concerns. I can provide my students with theoretical plus practical industry knowledge, which will enable them to really understand the practical side of their education, so that they are not over-whelmed once they commence their professional careers.
