With practice and help, I was able to understand a lot about chemistry and the world as we know it. I want to take the help that I was given and pass it on to the next student. I love seeing the look on students' faces when they finally understand a topic, and I will honestly never grow tired of seeing it. I have worked with many different age ranges being kindergarten to undergraduate college students and that face of excitement and self-fulfillment is the same. I currently have a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University at Albany, where I also minored in chemistry. I recently graduated from Ponce Health Sciences University, where I got my Master's degree in Medical Sciences. I am now working on going to Medical School to become a pediatrician. I love tutoring in chemistry. I personally like general chemistry or quantitative chemistry. General chemistry lets you understand the basics of chemistry and allows you to understand big chemistry topics in each area such as organic chemistry, physical chemistry, biochemistry, and forensic chemistry. I love quantitative chemistry because math comes easily to me. Math is a language that I understand, and when applied to chemistry, it is easier to picture things in my head. Outside of tutoring and academia, I am an avid reader. My favorite genres are romance and fantasy. My favorite authors are Kennedy Ryan and Jane Igharo. I, also, love watching Asian romance and thriller dramas. I am, also, an active member of my church where I am the musical director of 2 choirs and lead rehearsals every weekend. I want students to understand that I want them to succeed and comprehend the world of chemistry. Chemistry is all around us and a part of the fundamentals of life. If you do not understand something, I want students to reach out to me. I cannot do my job effectively if you do not allow me to teach you. I want you to understand at least one thing (hopefully more) when you leave my sessions.
