My alma mater is Thomas University and I graduated in 1995. As an Early Childhood Educator in Georgia, I taught PreK - 5th grades for 15 consecutive contracts beginning in 1999. I was recently granted teaching certificates for "3 year olds through 3rd grade" in both Florida (2017) and Indiana (2020). Teaching both Reading and Writing are my favs and my biggest "kick" is seeing a nonreader's light bulb turn on! I treat students as individuals and provide learning opportunities according to their learning modalities: Visual, Auditory, Reading/Writing, and Kinesthetic.

“If you believe very strongly in something, stand up and fight for it.” My second career is seeking social justice for marginalized children by volunteering in charitable organizations.
