About Me

I'm an experienced educator and tutor specializing in reading intervention, reading comprehension, and writing for middle school, high school, and college students. I work with students who struggle with understanding texts, organizing ideas, or expressing themselves clearly in writing, as well as those who want to strengthen their academic performance and confidence. I help students strengthen comprehension, build clear arguments, improve structure and flow, and write with confidence and purpose. Whether working on academic essays, research papers, personal statements, or challenging reading assignments, my approach is supportive, organized, and tailored to each student's goals and voice. I also help students manage deadlines and break large assignments into manageable steps. I'm a published author and hold a BS in Secondary Education and Reading, a Leadership Certificate, and an MBA. I'm passionate about helping students become confident, capable readers and writers.
