The secondary part that I focus on is helping the student learn to love learning. This I do by learning about my students and structuring the lessons to include their interests when possible. I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. I have a Masters in Education with concentration in Business Education and Learning and Behavior Disorders. Both of my degrees are from the University of Louisville. I taught business and classes for students with learning and behavior disorders including ADHD in Louisville, KY for seven years and substituted for five years. I taught middle and high school. I, also, taught the GED to high school and adult students. I was an adjunct instructor for two business colleges. I have tutored an eighth grade student in reading and math. A ninth grade student in all subjects including study skills. For the last 5 years, I have been teaching English as a Second Language online in China. I love tutoring everything but my favorites are reading, writing, and accounting. I enjoy volunteer work at my spiritual center and in animal rescue.

My hobbies are reading, hanging out with my five cats, watching science fiction, swimming and traveling.
