Four years of English language arts with emphasis on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills

Three years of mathematics, including courses that incorporate geometry and algebra

Two years of laboratory science

Two years of physical education

Two years of social science. At least one year must be History of the United States or a combination of History of the United States and American Government

One year selected from art, music, world languages (may include American Sign Language), CTE, or forensic speech (speech and debate)
