Western High – Digital Illustration II

This one-year is designed for students who have successfully completed Digital Illustration I and will include an in-depth study of techniques and skills using digital media. Students will expand applicable vocabulary and further develop artistic and technology skills. Students will continue to explore historical and cultural variations of digital art and the contributions of a diverse population. Students will practice presentation skills as effective communication. Emphasis will be placed on business ethics and professionalism, with digital illustration as a career possibility. Through collaboration and production, connections will be made between visual art and their academic studies, lives, and the world around them.
Prerequisites: Completion of Digital Illustration I with a C or better
