SCHEDULE FULL YEAR. An introductory studio art course,students acquire foundational visual literacy skills throughobservation and perception, creative expression, globalawareness and critical evaluation and response. Using a variety ofmaterials and methods to create original artworks, studentsexplore the elements of art and principles of design throughdrawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture and digitalmedia. All students construct and compile a portfolio to provideevidence of learning and growth.
