In Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) andRefrigeration Technology II students will be instructed in Spanish.Students will gain advanced knowledge and skills needed to enterthe industry as HVAC and refrigeration technicians or buildingmaintenance technicians or supervisors, prepare for apostsecondary degree in a specified field of construction orconstruction management, or pursue an approved apprenticeshipprogram. Students will acquire knowledge and skills in safety,electrical theory, use of tools, codes, installation of commercialHVAC equipment, heat pumps, troubleshooting techniques,various duct systems, and maintenance practices.
