This year-long, entry-level class, designed forstudents with little or no choral experience,promotes the enjoyment and appreciation ofmusic through performance of beginning choralrepertoire from a variety of times and places.Rehearsals focus on the development of criticallistening skills; foundational instrumentaltechniqueand skills,music literacy, andensemble skills; and aesthetic musicalawareness culminating in periodic publicperformances.
