This year-long, beginning-level class, designedfor students with at least one year of woodwind,brass,and/ orpercussion ensembleexperience, promotes the enjoyment andappreciation of music through performance ofhigh-quality wind and percussion literature.Rehearsals focus on the development of criticallistening skills, instrumental and ensembletechnique and skills, expanded music literacy,and aesthetic awareness culminatingperiodic public performances.Admission is by teacher approval.
