In this course, you will develop your conceptual and practical knowledge of new venture creation and management. Upon completing this course, you will be able to: Explain fundamental concepts, theories, and practices employed in the field of entrepreneurship and the role entrepreneurship plays in the global economy and society. Describe the new venture creation process along with starting your own business.

This course will allow students to advance their learning and exploration of digital media and multimedia production. Utilizing the foundation of learning gained in Multimedia Production, students will be able to advance their skills for more professional products that can be published and utilized in the school district. Students will also learn more about specific careers, the history of media, ethical and legal issues in communications, as well as how the media impacts the individual and society as a whole.

Through interdisciplinary, thematic approaches, project-based learning and internships, students are taught to strengthen their skills and excel academically. TPA graduates will become strong educational professionals and productive citizens. Utilizing the vast resources within the community, TPA students learn by teaching others. They are tutors, mentors and assistants to children in all grade levels in schools within the Jefferson community.

AVID is a college readiness program designed to help students develop the skills they need to be successful in college. The program places special emphasis on growing writing, critical thinking, teamwork, organization and reading skills. In addition to academic preparation, we also work to give the our students the tools and knowledge to reach college through financial aid instruction, collaboration training, and communication skill development.

Experience the transformative power of leadership and service in our Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) program. Rooted in the values of integrity, discipline, and teamwork, our JROTC program provides students with the opportunity to develop essential leadership skills while fostering a sense of camaraderie and civic responsibility. Through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on activities, and community service projects, students learn the importance of self-discipline, respect for others, and commitment to excellence.
