Tesoro High – Aviation Careers (G)

This course explores the many careers in the field of aviation and aeronautics and prepares students for upper level coursework in this pathway. Instruction includes a study of the development of aircraft and the aviation/aeronautical industries. Through a project-based learning approach, students will learn about the scientific and mathematical principles of flight and aerodynamics. Students will learn the requirements and opportunities for careers and post-secondary education in aviation and aeronautics. They will develop a personal career/life plan while also practicing valuable foundation skills in technical reading and writing, public speaking and technology.
