Capstone Research Project

9th and 10th

A two-year project during freshman and sophomore years where students engage in the engineering design process to develop and test solutions to problems facing modern engineers, with a specific focus on sustainability.

Honors Courses

Challenging courses and project-based learning activities that delve into science, technology, engineering, and math. The high school curriculum follows an NC-approved rigorous course of study based on four academic strands: Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences, Engineering/Computer Science, Renewable Energy, and Information Technology.
