Additional Fees associated with these courses This class is the next step after Middle School Orchestra. The purpose of this course is to enable students to develop basic technical skills on string or other orchestral instruments through the refinement and performance of high school orchestra literature. Emphasis will be placed on the development of skills in interpretation of notation and expressive markings, individual and ensemble performance, and critical listening. Students are required to participate in rehearsals and performances outside of school hours. New students are allowed in this class.
