Participation in 2 years of Marching Band will also meet HOPE Graduation Requirement Additional Fees associated with these courses The purpose of this course is to enable students to develop technical skills on wind or percussion instruments through the refinement and performance of high school band literature. Emphasis will be placed on the development of skills in interpretation of notation and expressive markings, individual and ensemble performance, and critical listening. Students are required to participate in rehearsals and performances outside of school hours.
