Health Science Theory with Clinicals GCStudents will develop hands-on advanced knowledge and skills related to a varietyof healthcare careers, practice entry-level occupational skills in labs or clinicalsettings, and prepare for an industry-based certification. Students participating inclinical experiences will be required to meet all facility standards and regulations oftheir assigned work-based learning site which could include immunizations, annualTB test, and a background check. Facilities may require proof of studentcompliance and other personal health information to be shared directly with thefacility or via a 3rd party vendor. Students who successfully complete this coursewill earn workforce dual credit at Houston City College.
