Broadcast Journalism IThe purpose of this course is to provide opportunities for students to developintroductory skils in television production, including media skills, verbal skills, andteamwork. The content will include an overview of television; the history of masscommunications with a special emphasis on media literacy; television careers;writing for television compared to other media; and learning equipment such ascamera, video recorder, mixer, lighting, and character generator.
