In this course, students will be introduced to the studio art of painting using a variety of different media, processes, and techniques. Students will focus on color theory as the basis for exploration as they develop their technical painting skills and personal style. Students will also study examples of historically significant painting as well as contemporary works as they relate to the curriculum.
