Southridge High School – IB Art HL II

Cost(s): $40 per semester/individual expenses IB Art II is a course for highly motivated art students. It is a continuation of IB Art and should be taken during a student’s senior year. Throughout the course, students will work to develop a meaningful and highly focused portfolio of their work. This body of work may be completed in a wide variety of media, including, but not limited to, painting, drawing, sculpture, graphics, photography, or printmaking. Students will also continue to work to integrate useful and significant cultural and historical research into their work. Students will be encouraged to take the IB Art Exam at the end of the year, but are not required to enroll in the class. If students enroll in a total of 4 semesters of IB Art, they are eligible for the higher-level IB Exam. #
