Southridge High School – AVID Workshop 10

This is year two of the AVID class. In this course, students continue to work on skills necessary for success in college. The focus on WICOR strategies for success, ie. Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading are ongoing. Students must apply for AVID every year. Students who have not been in AVID previously can apply and may be accepted. The application process includes both a written application and an interview. Students interested in AVID should see Chris Martin in Counseling to apply.
