South Carroll High – Personal Financial Management – Alternate

Personal Financial Management will provide students with the essential knowledge and skills needed to manage personal finances effectively. Students will learn about practical and functional life skills such as budgeting, purchasing, banking, credit management, paying bills, understanding taxes, and completing personal and financial applications. Students will learn the skills to manage their money wisely, make informed financial decisions, and prepare for long-term financial security. This course is designed to facilitate learning outcomes appropriate to the student's instructional needs as documented in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP). This course DOES NOT meet the state graduation requirements.
Prerequisites: Students who qualify for the Alternate Standards.
