South Carroll High – Cisco Cyber Operations II

This college level course introduces students to the Python programming language and its use for web development, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and scientific computing. Students also develop a foundational understanding of cybersecurity, and the security principles, technologies, and procedures to defend networks. Students learn core security skills needed for detecting and responding to security events, thus protecting systems and organizations from cybersecurity risks.
Prerequisites: Completion of Cisco Networking Academy: Cyber Operations I. This course is the final class in a 6-credit completer program. All students in this class are required to take an industry-standard end of program assessment.
