South Carroll High – Chorus

Two levels of chorus are offered, academic level Chorus and honors level Festival Chorus. Honors level Festival Chorus utilizes materials more technically demanding than those for Chorus. Honors level Festival Chorus is designed for the student of advanced vocal ability level. All chorus classes focus on the study of choral literature. Students will advance in technical skill, stylistic understanding of historical background, and aesthetic awareness through the study and performance of quality music literature. The chorus music teacher will place students in the organization, which, in his/her best judgment, will provide the most beneficial educational experience for the individual.
