South Carroll High – Independent Study: Leadership Education and Training

This course is for students who wish to extend their experience in the Junior ROTC program. It is an individualized course and students must contract for a grade. The outcomes and activities for the course are designed jointly by the teacher and the student. Students taking this course must hold weekly conferences with the teacher. This time is used to check progress and provide guidance.
Prerequisites: Completion of LET I- IV, permission of the teacher, and approval by the principal are required. This course may be repeated for credit. This course is a recommended elective for the JROTC completer program.
