Prerequisites: Forensics Science 1 with a “C” or better Forensic science is the application of science to legal matters. In this class, students will learn how to properly collect, process, and test different evidence types, and utilize results to aid investigations. The course will delve deeper into topics covered in Forensics 1 while introducing the following new topics: arson, explosives, criminal profiling, classifications of criminal activity, analyzing criminal behavior, and forensics in the criminal justice system.
