Teacher Approval Required This course satisfies the Fine Arts graduation requirement This course encourages learners to explore a range of processes and techniques appropriate to their chosen area of study. The syllabus encourages personal responses that are based on knowledge and understanding and skills in art, craft and design. The four areas of study are listed below: Fine Art, Graphic Communication, ThreeDimensional Design, and Textiles & Fashion. Students must complete a portfolio with a final outcome and an externally set assignment. Students that complete this course successfully will be eligible to continue into Advanced Placement Art the following year. Regularly scheduled field trips to local art museums!
