Shepton High School – Debate I

Students will study specific formats and forums for debate. They will learn processes of logic and critical thinking as they prepare briefs and cases. They will learn to write, present and compete in various public speaking events. They will make debate presentations in class. Successful completion of this course will also satisfy the speech requirement for graduation. This is the second course for those students wishing to continue their study of debate.
