This course is designed to continue student investigations into the connections among Earth's systems (atmosphere, hydrosphere, geosphere, and biosphere) through Earth history. It engages students in constructing explanations for phenomena in geology and physical geography, including the early history of Earth, plate tectonics, landform evolution, the geologic record, weather, climate, and the history of life.
Prerequisites: Completion of 8th grade Science coursework
