One trimester/two periods = 1.0 credit | Major outcomes: ; Develop essential patient care skills: vital signs, personal care (bathing, feeding, toileting), patient transfers, and infection control (including proper handwashing).; Develop soft skills necessary for employability in healthcare.; Meet competency standards set by the MN Nurse Aide registry.; Provide patient care in healthcare facilities by participating in 16 hours of supervised practical training (outside of regular school hours).
