One trimester = .5 credit | Major outcomes: ; Students will explore deeper technical styles such as contemporary, jazz, ballet, musical theater and styles presented by guest artists; Students will focus on both the advanced physical practice and the history and choreographic techniques unique to the selected styles; Students will continue to develop their artistic voices through student generated choreography and have the opportunity to explore inter-disciplinary modes of presenting dance and choreography | Instructional focus: This course would focus on developing a body of work to be performed at the end-of-trimester dance concert as well as throughout the community. This course partially satisfies the arts requirement. Course can be taken up to three times Engineering and Robotics [AHS only] Prerequisite/Selection process: None
Prerequisites: Dance Technique II OR at least 4 years of dance training
