Roosevelt High School – Photography: Intermediate 3-4

Students in this project-based class concentrate on more complex photographic skills which may include improving photo quality, developing a personal style, and completing a portfolio. Students continue to learn more about the manual function of their camera and how to manipulate the settings to achieve better photos. Students also work with many different photographic techniques which may include DSLR camera settings, developing and manipulating film, manipulating photos taken with phones, scanning of negatives, manipulation of images in Adobe’s Lightroom, along with competing in the annual Scholastic Art Competition and other competitions.
