Roosevelt High School – Carpentry/Construction: Capstone

This capstone course is the culminating experience for students completing the Carpentry/Construction Technology pathway. Students will apply advanced skills in residential and commercial construction through complex, real-world projects that emphasize precision, planning, and professionalism. Working both independently and in teams, students will engage in blueprint reading, cost estimation, site preparation, framing, finishing, and project management. The course reinforces industry safety standards and workplace expectations while providing opportunities for leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration with industry professionals.
