Leadership is rooted in the belief that everyone possesses unique strengths and has the ability to be a leader. Leadership classes provide empowering opportunities to students at all levels. This focus on cultivating leadership, culture and academics builds leadership and life skills both in and out of the classroom.The vision for this class is to develop college, career, and life-ready leaders in a culture where students are highly engaged Goals: Inspiring trust Creating vision Executing strategy Empowering belonging About this Course: This course focuses on building community and personal relationships while identifying and developing each student's personal leadership style and skills. This is done by students engaging in a number of classroom activities, discussions, assignments/projects, and challenges that focus on communication, goal-setting, organization and time management, problem solving and decision-making, group processing and planning, evaluation, and leadership. Students who successfully complete this course will earn an elective credit.
