Students will journal every day, try lots of writing exercises, and explore different forms such as short stories, poetry, multimedia projects, narrative nonfiction, and more. We will also submit our work for publication in our school Literary Magazine and beyond. This class is appropriate students with an open mind who are ready to commit to daily writing. You won’t be graded on if your writing is “good,” only if you are attempting the challenges given to you! Still, students should expect to have their work read and lightly critiqued by others in a supportive environment. You will finish class a more confident writer with a collection of work to be proud of!
