Start a band, make an album, go on tour and negotiate a record contract. Business Management 3-4 provides a general outline of the music industry and dives into various segments of the industry, based on student need and desire, explaining how these segments work and operate on a day-to-day basis. This course relates business concepts such as business financials (profit generation, cost analysis, etc.), networking, production, distribution, industry infrastructure, marketing, promotion, and digital technology to the music industry and how it is specifically applied in this industry. This course presents career opportunities that are available within the industry, and provides knowledge students may need to begin a career in the music industry.
