Roosevelt High School – AVID 11: Higher Ed and Career Success

In this new diploma requirement, starting with the class of 2027, students will explore how their personal strengths, aptitudes, interests, and values connect with future career paths, and practice self-advocacy. They will understand the diverse range of career pathways and postsecondary opportunities, and be prepared for the workforce. Students will complete a resume and My Plan that includes a detailed postsecondary plan. This course is paired with AVID 11 and students must pass both classes in order to receive credit for both AVID 11: Higher Ed & Career Success and AVID 11.Fulfills Higher Ed and Career Path SkillsSemester only course
