Roosevelt High School – Art: Advanced 5-6

Students in this advanced course build on the skills learned in beginning and intermediate courses. Areas of study may include drawing, painting, printmaking, and using a variety of media such as ink, charcoal, pen, pencil, acrylic, water-based oil paint, and mixed media. Students build their portfolio of work, have opportunities to engage with professional artists and attend gallery walks, and are encouraged to deepen their creativity by drawing inspiration from various sources.Prerequisite: Art: Intermediate 3-4.
