Roosevelt High School – Animation: Beginning 1-2

Students in this hands-on course explore digital imaging, basic animation, and Photoshop. Students learn how to rig and animate characters and may use platforms such as Rubber Hose, JoyStick, and Sliders. Animations use industry-standard storyboarding, editing, keyframing, and audio techniques. Students start to learn how to present their animation compositions in the vocabulary of the animation industry while interpreting the design principles of classmates’ animations through critique and assessments. Students create exciting animation projects that help prepare them for the animation and design industry.
