Roosevelt High School – Advanced Leadership

This year-long course focuses on empowering students who are passionate about taking action to make real change happen in their community while serving in a leadership capacity in the school. Students are accepted into this class by passing and excelling in a full year of Intro to Leadership. Students taking this course must display R.I.D.E.R values at all times and dedicate themselves to building an equitable and inclusive Roosevelt community through school-wide activities, workshops, forums, and events. Areas that will be of focus in the class and within committees include: planning and organizing community events, announcements and recognition, as well as budgeting and fundraising. This course does require hours outside of the classroom to complete committee tasks and responsibilities.
