Roosevelt High School – Avid 10

Prerequisites- Have a 2.0+ GPA, have an interest in learning more about why to go to college, and have an interest in preparing to apply to college. AVID 10 partners with many different organizations to help you learn more about careers, and how to prepare for them. Activities such as career guest speakers, participating in opportunities with the Oregon Zoo, and other opportunities help students better understand the different ways we can earn money over the course of our life. In AVID 10, studenes will attend field trips that support their understanding of college and careeers. Students also participate in multiple transferable skills including, improving organization skills, practicing collaborating with others, as well as problem solving skills through academic tutorial groups.
