Social Studies instruction following Tennessee Curriculum Standards. Topics include ancient civilizations (6th grade), Middle Ages to 1700s (7th grade), and U.S. History from colonization to the Civil War (8th grade).

Science instruction following Tennessee Curriculum Standards using TN Middle School Science textbook. Topics include energy, ecosystems, and natural resources (6th grade), matter and life science (7th grade), and force and motion (8th grade).

Academic support classes included as part of the daily schedule to provide additional assistance to students in core subject areas.

Weekly related arts class focusing on career empowerment and preparation for future educational and career pathways.

Optional service learning activities where students provide support in the Special Day Program classrooms, developing leadership and community service skills.
