Ralston Valley Senior High School – Vocal Ensemble Select (Shades of Blue)

Vocal Ensembles-Select is intended to develop advanced vocal techniques and the ability to sing parts in ensemble or madrigal groups. Course goals may include the development of solo singing ability and may emphasize various ensemble literature styles.<br>This is an award winning, select choral ensemble chosen by auditions  held in the spring of each year. The ensemble will be made up of  experienced and knowledgeable singers who participate in the study  of advanced vocal production and music principals. Emphasis will be  placed on advanced vocal technique, advanced musicianship skills  and a thorough examination of the process of creating art through  singing and music. These students are expected to be available for  numerous performances during the school year. These performances  may occur during or after the normal school hours.
