Ralston Valley Senior High School – Future Technologies: Artificial Intelligence

Future Technologies: Artificial Intelligence introduces students to the foundations of artificial intelligence through hands-on, project-based learning (text, Images, videos, and audio) designed for students with no prior experience. The course explores ethical considerations and societal impacts of AI alongside core technical concepts such as machine learning, data analysis, and large language models. Students select a real-world problem, curate and analyze data, and use computational tools to design, train, evaluate, and deploy a functional AI solution as part of a culminating project. Emphasis is placed on responsible AI use, bias detection, data quality, and evaluation of AI-generated content, preparing students to move from passive AI consumers to ethical AI creators with practical, resume-ready skills applicable across academic and career pathways.
