Ralston Valley Senior High School – Community Service Credit
Mar 2026 · 2nd Semester
Community Service courses provide students with the opportunity to volunteer their time, energy, and talents to serve a community project or organization. These courses are usually (but not always) conducted with a seminar component, so that students can use their volunteer experiences to learn how to solve problems, make decisions, and communicate effectively.<br>Students should see their counselor for the approval process. No more than one credit may count toward graduation elective credit. Community Service Credit does not count as a class and will not appear on your schedule. It will appear on the transcript. Such credit serves as verification of service for college and scholarship applications. This pass/fail class will not count as part of the GPA.
