Orchestra-Chamber is designed to develop students’ abilities to play brass, woodwind, percussion, and string instruments, covering a variety of string and orchestral literature styles. This is a smaller select group, working specifically on literature for the Chamber Ensemble.<br>Chamber Orchestra is the highest-level orchestra offered at RVHS and is open to grades 10-12. Students audition in the spring to be placed in this ensemble. Chamber Orchestra is designed to acquaint more serious string students with aspects of orchestral  literature and performance. Students are exposed to a wide variety of repertoire, ranging from chamber music to contemporary and full  orchestra literature. The majority of students in Chamber Orchestra study privately and many participate in youth orchestras.
