This course offers an overview of the broadcast media industry, including anintroduction to anchoring, directing, editing, interviewing, news writing,photojournalism/videotaping, and reporting. This course is designed to provide studentswith advanced knowledge and skills related to the television broadcasting industry. Thisincludes instruction and hands-on assignments in the following areas: newscasts,camera operation, audio systems, lighting systems, pre-production, studio operations,control room operations, post-production, visual effects and graphics, and copyrightlaws.
