ACC ASE 1001 - FALL - Auto Shop Orientation provides students with safetyinstruction in the shop and on the automobile. Emphasis is placed on the proper useand care of test equipment, precision measuring and machining equipment, gaskets,adhesives, tubing, wiring, jacks, presses, and cleaning equipment and techniques.ACC ASE 1003- FALL - Auto Maintenance I course addresses three primary areas ofconcern for the average car owner. The first is the basics of how various systems onthe automobile work. The second is the maintenance required for the vehicle. The thirdis the financial concerns of owning the vehicle.ACC ASE 1020 - FALL - Basic Auto Electricity introduces vehicle electricity, basicelectrical theory, circuit designs, and wiring methods. This course focuses onmultimeter usage and wiring diagrams. This course meets MLR/AST/MASTrequirements.
Prerequisites: Students must attend a programorientation meeting offered inthe spring prior to enrollment.Co-enrolled with ACC ASE 1003and ACC ASE 1020. Studentsenrolled in this course mustbe concurrently enrolled inAC.
