Photo 2 expands upon the foundation established in Photo 1, offering students a rich exploration of photography techniques and creative processes. This course includes film photography and darkroom techniques, offering students a hands-on experience in developing film and producing unique prints using analog processes. In addition, students will explore mixed media techniques, combining photography with other artistic mediums to push the boundaries of visual storytelling. A central focus of the course is guiding students in the discovery and development of their artistic voices. Through regular art critiques, students will engage in constructive discussions, gaining valuable insights into their work and that of their peers. The ultimate goal is for students to construct a cohesive and expressive photo portfolio, showcasing not only technical proficiency but also a distinct artistic identity cultivated through the exploration of varied mediums and thoughtful reflection.
